Police and emergency responders responded to a school bus crash on Rt. 235 in Lexington Park short after 3 p.m. Wednesday. Many volunteer fire department crews were still on the scene of the Solomon’s Island fire when the call came over.
Two other vehicles were involved in the crack-up, but only minor injuries were reported by one driver. Approximately 10 young students from Green Holly Elementary School were on the bus at the time. None were injured.
The Green Holly Principal and district administration officials responded to the scene.
