School administrative changes announced

Leonardtown, MD – Feb. 6th.  Superintendent of Schools, Mr. J. Scott Smith, announces the following administrative changes effective Monday, February 6, 2017.

Mr. Beejay Dothard, current Assistant Principal at Leonardtown High School, will serve as the Acting Academic Dean II at Fairlead I for the remainder of the 2016-2017 school year.  Mr. Dothard previously served as a Special Education teacher at Spring Ridge Middle School for 11 years, serving as both a Learning Adjustment Program teacher and Resource teacher.  He was appointed Assistant Principal at Leonardtown High School in 2015.

Mrs. Sarah Crowder, Guidance Counselor and Department Chairperson at Leonardtown High School, will serve as Acting Assistant Principal II at Leonardtown High School to replace Mr. Dothard.  Mrs. Crowder earned her Administrator I endorsement in 2016 and has been a Guidance Counselor at Leonardtown High School for 8 years.

Mrs. Sue Taylor, retired Leonardtown High School Guidance Counselor, will serve as a part-time substitute Guidance Counselor at Leonardtown High School to replace Mrs. Crowder.
