On March 9, 2015, detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division began an investigation after receiving information, John Allen Combs SR., age 42, of Lexington Park, a tier 1 registered sex offender, had posted child pornography on his social media sites.
During the investigation, Combs began communicating with a 15 year old girl via a social media website. Over the course of several days, the communication continued and lead to Combs sending nude photos of himself to the 15 year old girl. Combs then requested the girl have sexual intercourse with him.
On March 18, 2015, Combs responded to a predetermined location to meet with the 15 year old girl and was placed under arrest by detectives.
Combs was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Felony Sexual Solicitation of a Minor and 2 COUNTS of Sex Offender Violation.
