The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in locating a wanted person.
Wayne Darnell Winters, 36, is described as a 6-foot black male weighing 155 pounds. Winters has multiple tattoos on his upper right and left arms and a tattoo on the left upper chest.
Wayne Darnell Winters is wanted for first-degree assault, armed robbery, first-degree escape and driving an uninsured vehicle and false report of an accident.
Winters is known to frequent the Great Mills Road and Lexington Park areas.
