On January 27,at 3:50 p.m., Tpr. M. J. Pitcher and Tpr S. Casarella responded to the Walmart Store in California for the reported Theft in Progress.
Upon arrival, Tpr. Pitcher made contact with the Loss Prevention Officer who observed Cecelia Marshall, 45 of Lexington Park, steal numerous items from the store without paying.
Marshall was detained in the Loss Prevention office and was found to have in her possession two articles of clothing, a necklace, two deodorant sticks, soap bar and a Revlon extra curl curler.
Total value of all items found in her possession was $44.80.
Marshall was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner
