Waldorf, MD – Unassuming from the outside, CornStalker’s Trail of Terror is a frightening adventure that takes visitors through a ten minute twisting maze of bone chilling special effects, authentic farm props and amazing actors, all primed and ready to provide thrills and chills to anyone that dares to enter their domain. Located in the heart of Southern Maryland, CornStalker’s Trail of Terror does not disappoint its guests.  Despite long lines, visitors are able to quickly enter and experience this haunting attraction and descend into adrenaline pumping madness.  Shrieks of terror and delight can be heard all the way from the parking lot, quickly ensuring this attraction becomes a Southern Maryland Halloween tradition.  There are only 2 more days to take a trip into the cornfield, check out the dates and times below.   Do you know the story behind the Trail of Terror?


Legend has it that the site of what is now the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs Stadium was once a thriving farm for the Graves family.  During the 1930’s, the Graves family was murdered, one by one, until only the patriarch of the family remained.   It is said that every year, after the loss of his entire family the locals would pitch in to help Mr. Graves harvest his crops.  Although Mr. Graves was never suspected of being involved in the tragic deaths of his family members, it is interesting to note that the locals who had volunteered to help him harvest his crops each fall, slowly began disappearing, never to be heard from again. 
With suspicion growing with each year and passing disappearance, Mr. Graves was determined to end the ordeal and set his home ablaze, while still inside.  His shrieks of terror and pain were allegedly heard by the locals attempting to put out the fire, who were never able to locate his body in the rubble. 


Very little is known, even to this day about what really happened all those years ago.  And today Regency Furniture Stadium, home to the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs Baseball team, now occupies what was once the property belonging to the Graves family.  It is reported that every fall harvest season strange and horrifying occurrences take place upon the stadium grounds.  Mere coincidences, or something more?  Visitors to the grounds can judge for themselves after they take a tour through CornStalker’s Trail of Terror.
