In an ongoing effort to improve communication with the community, St. Mary’s County Public Schools has established a Twitter account.
“I am delighted to implement the use of this communications vehicle to disseminate information to parents/guardians, students, and staff,” said Dr. Michael J. Martirano, superintendent of schools. “The use of Twitter advances our efforts to keep the community informed.”

Please note that Twitter will not be used for notifying the public of changes in the school system’s operating status.
