Calvert County Dep. Stephen Esposito and DFC John McCarroll responded to a single vehicle crash at Brickhouse Road and Ward Road in Dunkirk on Nov. 26 at 12:26 a.m.
The driver, identified as Michael Scott Green, Jr., 24 of Huntingtown, advised he did not see the stop sign and hit the guardrail. Green was arrested for driving under the influence. He was found to be in possession of suspect controlled dangerous substances. He was also charged with possession of Adderall, an amphetamine, and unlawful possession of a prescription drug, Ibuprofen, in sufficient quantity to indicate an intent to distribute.
Green was also charged with use of drug paraphernalia, a medication bottle unlabeled, used to store drugs.
