On Jan. 26 road officers from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police, Prince Frederick Barrack, responded to four commercial burglaries in the northern end of the county.
Creations Hair Salon, Common Grounds, Citago and Sacchetti Music stores located between Dunkirk and Huntingtown, were the scene of “smash and grabs.” The suspect threw a large rock through the window entered the establishments and stole cash from the registers. The burglars stole approximately $80.00. All of the incidents began prior to 11 pm.
