Ryan Michael Dale

Lexington Park, MD— On Dec.25 St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Officer Deputy Jason Smith responded to Town Creek Drive in Lexington Park for reports of an assault in progress.ย 

When officers arrived on the scene, they made contact with the victim, who is the Father of Ryan Michael Dale, 23 of Lexington Park.ย 

According to court documents, ” He (Dale) fired a shotgun blast into a wall the day before during a dispute at his family’s home.”ย 

Ryan was charged with assault first-degree, assault second-degree, and also reckless endangerment.ย 

“The victim required medical treatment for an eye injury and a cut on his hand,” according to court documents.ย 

Ryan has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Jan.21 in St. Mary’s County District Court. Ryan is being held on $150,000 bond for his most recent charges.ย 

Ryan also had a similar case dating from March.10, 2015 where he faced a similar charge of assault second-degree, resisting arrest, and failure to obey. In this case, Ryan was given six months in jail.ย 

According to court documents “On March.10 Ryan pushed him (his father) onto his back on top of the dining room chairs and forcibly held him down.”ย 

The investigating officer, in this case, was Deputy Jason Smith of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office.ย
