ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Southern Maryland business community is invited to participate in Maryland Aerospace Day 2026 in Annapolis on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, a full day dedicated to showcasing Maryland’s aerospace sector and its impact on high-tech jobs, innovation, and economic growth.

What is Maryland Aerospace Day?

Hosted by the Maryland Aerospace Alliance (MAA), Maryland Aerospace Day is a unique day in Annapolis for networking and for discussing Maryland’s extraordinary aerospace high-tech and economic jobs engine with state legislators, aerospace federal agency representatives, academia, and industry professionals.

Why It Matters for Southern Maryland

Southern Maryland (SOMD) is a core hub of Maryland’s aerospace and defense enterprise, anchored by NAS Patuxent River and a dense ecosystem of contractors, innovators, and skilled professionals supporting test, evaluation, training, and advanced technology development. Strong SOMD participation underscores our region’s contributions to Maryland’s economic development and national security and ensures our priorities and workforce needs are represented as state leaders shape future aerospace policy and investment.
