HANOVER, Md. — A 65-year-old Catonsville man was arrested Wednesday night after a parking dispute allegedly escalated into a stabbing in Hanover.
Anne Arundel County police responded at approximately 8:35 p.m. July 29, 2026, to the 7600 block of Dorchester Boulevard for a reported assault.
Officers located a 48-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to his torso. He was transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
Investigators reported that the victim and another man became involved in a dispute over parking before the confrontation escalated and one man stabbed the other.
Police arrested Tony Maurice Horne, 65, of Catonsville, at the scene.
Horne was charged with:
- Attempted second-degree murder
- First-degree assault
- Second-degree assault
- Reckless endangerment
Court records show Horne was ordered held without bond on July 30.
A bail review hearing was scheduled for July 30 in Anne Arundel County District Court in Glen Burnie. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 26, 2026, in Annapolis.
