LEONARDTOWN, Md. — Holy Face Church in Great Mills proudly announces its 31st annual Southern Maryland Spring Festival, taking place from Thursday, April 30, to Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds in Leonardtown. A beloved tradition since 1994, this festival continues to draw thousands of attendees each year.

This vibrant, family-friendly event brings Holy Face parishioners together in support of their church while spreading joy throughout the community. With exciting carnival rides, engaging children’s activities, live entertainment, unique shopping experiences, and fun for all ages, the Southern Maryland Spring Festival offers something special for everyone.

Highlights

• Family Fun: Carnival rides by Snyder’s Attractions, hayrides, and face painting.
• Unique Attractions: Master chainsaw artist Joe Wenal, Theatricks roaming circus performers, and a massive indoor yard sale.
• Machines & Motors: Antique Power Association Tractor Pull (Sat/Sun) and a Saturday Car Show.
• Live Music: A diverse lineup featuring local students and professional acts (Jazz, Bluegrass, Rock, and more).

• Thursday: 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. (Carnival Rides Only)
• Friday: 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
• Saturday: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
• Sunday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Admission: $6 adults
$3 children ages 6 to 12
Free for children 5 and under

Bring a non-perishable canned food item and receive $1 off admission. Donations go to local food banks/pantries.
