At 12:28 pm on Thursday, Feb. 9, TFC P. Trossbach was patrolling Route 235 and Clover Hill Road, Hollywood, when a passenger vehicle passed him. A pace was conducted and a speed of 66 mph in a 55 mph zone was detected.
The vehicle was stopped and the driver was identified as Brian George McWilliams, 22, of Hollywood.
When asked if he had anything illegal on him, he pulled out a 35 mm film canister from his shirt pocket and handed it to TFC Trossbach. Inside the canister was marijuana. McWilliams was placed under arrest, taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bail review.
