At 3:19 p.m. on February 17, on Rt. 2/4, in Prince Frederick, TFC Slifer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.
A computer check revealed that the operator, Steven Bobby Stowers, 31, of Huntingtown, was driving on a suspended license and was wanted by the CCSO on an open warrant for child support.
Incident to arrest, suspected marijuana and brass knuckles were recovered from the vehicle.
Mr. Stowers was additionally charged with possession of marijuana and a concealed deadly weapon.
After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
