Maryland State Fire Marshalls are investigating a case of arson in St. Leonard.
On April 30, around 10:30 a.m., fire investigators were called to the 4800 block of Maryland Ave to the Dowell House, a building owned by Calvert County Parks and Recreation in St. Leonard for an arson investigation.
Investigation revealed a county employee discovered unknown persons ignited wood chairs that were placed at the rear basement entrance of the building sometime during the past few days.
No injuries were reported.
