The St. Maryโs County Commissioners on Tuesday unanimously passed ten motions that formally ratify changes in how their various boards, commissions and committees are constituted. Most of the changes are relatively minor and bring all of their bylaws into conformity.
The commissioners also adopted changes to the countyโs right to farm regulations and abolished three boards and rolled them into one new advisory board called the St. Maryโs County Agricultural, Seafood and Forestry Board.
The changes had been explained in detail two weeks ago by County Attorney George Sparling and the commissioners kept the record open for two weeks. Sparling said there were no comments on the proposals.
