St. Mary’s County Government Offices to Close March 29 for Good Friday

STS, Landfill and Convenience Centers Open

All St. Mary’s County Government Offices will be closed on Friday, March 29, 2013 in observance of Good Friday. Offices will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, April 1.

The St. Andrews Landfill, Solid Waste/Recycling Program and six (6) convenience centers will be closed on Easter Sunday, March 31. The landfill and convenience centers will be open for normal business hours prior to and after Easter Sunday. Additionally, the St. Mary’s Transit System (STS) will be closed as usual on Sunday.

All three St. Mary’s County Library locations (Charlotte Hall, Leonardtown and Lexington Park) will be closed on Friday, March 29. The libraries will be open on Saturday, March 30 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

All Department of Aging and Human Services Senior Activity Centers will be closed on March 29 and there will be no Meals on Wheels deliveries.
