Through various investigative avenues Vice Narcotics Detectives made purchases of cocaine from several members of the drug network including Bush.

As members of his organization began to get arrested, Bush fled the area and has been on the run for more than a year. Vice Narcotics Detectives received information from time to time and the information was for areas outside the State of Maryland.

Sheriffโ€™s Office Vice Narcotics Detectives met with the United States Marshalโ€™s Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force and turned the case over to them. The US Marshalโ€™s Task Force followed leads that came to the Sheriffโ€™s Office and those that were generated by their own investigation.
