Just like an Agatha Christie mystery or the board game โ€œClue,โ€ โ€œDeath by Chocolateโ€ features a host of outlandish characters, multiple murders, and a hapless detective trying to sort it all out โ€“ and itโ€™s a comedy. โ€œDeath by Chocolateโ€ will be performed by St. Maryโ€™s Ryken students on November 18, 19 and 20.

The show begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 16, and Saturday, November 17, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 18. All performances will be held in the Romuald Hall Theater on the lower campus of St. Maryโ€™s Ryken, 22600 Camp Calvert Road, Leonardtown, Maryland, 20650.ย  Doors open one hour before show time. Tickets can be purchased at the door: $10 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.seatyourself.biz/smrhs.

Nick Noir, private eye, has fallen on hard times and may have to shutter his business, but a call from Coco Purvis offers a tantalizing case that just might pay off for Nick. Coco and her sister, Bonbon, run Precious Perks Coffee Shoppe, which is known for its signature drink, Death by Chocolate. Unfortunately, the name came all too true for some customers.

St. Mary’s Ryken is a college preparatory high school sponsored by the Xaverian Brothers and dedicated to individualized student growth. Students come from many different counties across the region including Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, King George, Prince Georgeโ€™s and St. Maryโ€™s counties.
