On Saturday, the St. Mary’s Park and Recreation wrestling team went to their first match of the year, and had a very strong showing. The match was held at Charles Carroll Middle School, in New Carrollton.
The match consisted of four other teams, Bowie, Jr. Chargers, New Carollton, and Patuxent.
Next week, on Jan. 12, Parks and Rec. wrestling has a match at La Plata High School at 4 p.m. along with the Jr. Chargers, La Plata and Westlake.
