WALDORF, Md. – The late night vehicle fire was discovered by a neighbor. 

At approximately 10:48 p.m., on June 21, firefighters from the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department responded to the vehicle fire at 12599 Substation Road in Waldorf.

Crews arrived to the scene and found the 2006 Chrysler Pacifica engulfed in flames. Firefighters had the fire under control in under 10 minutes.

The Fire Marshal determined the fire originated in the front of vehicle / engine compartment area. The estimated vehicle loss is at $3,000.00. No injuries have been reported.

The incident remains under investigation.  The fire destroyed the 2006 Chrysler Pacifica.  Anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Office of the State Fire Marshal, Southern Regional Office, at 443-550-6820.
