Maryland State Police are investigating three thefts that occurred last month in Calvert County.
During the overnight hours of May 23, an unknown culprit removed $410 of lumber from a construction site on Doris Dr. in Owings. Trooper Brooks of the Maryland State Police is handling the investigation.
On May 27, between 11:00 p.m. and 11:56 p.m., an unknown culprit removed a 13-foot Coleman canoe, orange with gray stripes, from the rooftop of a vehicle parked on Rousby Hall Rd. in Lusby. Trooper Laziuck is handling the investigation.
On May 30, an employee of Morgan Russell, Inc. reported that an unknown culprit had removed a 1989 Rammax trench compactor, valued at $24,900, from a construction site on Route 4, south of Chaneyville Rd. in Owings. Trooper Roy is handling the investigation.
