LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — The St. Mary’s County Arts Council joined professionals from various STEAM fields—Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math—at the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum on March 8 for the annual STEAM Day event.
Attendees of all ages participated in interactive activities, including a collaborative art project led by St. Mary’s County Arts Council Executive Director Susie Glauner. The hands-on activity featured feather painting, allowing participants to contribute to a collective artwork now on display at the museum.
Visitors are encouraged to stop by the museum to view the artwork and take photos. Those interested can share their pictures by emailing them to info@smcart.org or tagging the Arts Council on Facebook or Instagram using #smcartscouncil.
