Leonardtown, MD – Due to the impending winter storm, the St. Mary’s Transit System (STS) will suspend operations at noon. STS service will remain suspended through Sunday.
Citizens are reminded to remain off the roads during the storm. The more cars which are that are off the streets, the better the job the Department of Public Works & Transportation and its contractors can do to remove snow from the roadways.
Residents are advised to please park in their driveways. If they do not have a driveway, it is recommended they try to park on one side of the street, if possible. Once one side of the road has been plowed/cleared, they can move their vehicle to the other side.
