Police and medical personnel were dispatched to a reported self-inflicted gunshot victim at 12:14 a.m. today on Hewitt Road, Valley Lee.
A Maryland State Police trooper first on the scene reported the victim was deceased on arrival.
The ambulance was called off and Bureau of Criminal Investigations detectives arrived to investigate.
