Suspect in custody after attempted McDonald's robbery

Glen Burnie — A 29-year-old Baltimore man was arrested after attempting to rob the McDonalds on B & A Boulevard in Glen Burnie early Tuesday morning.

Just after 12:30 a.m., Darrian Lee, Jr. approached a restaurant employee, said he had a gun, and demanded money.

When the employee did not comply and the suspect fled toward 8th Avenue.

Officers canvassed the area on foot, by air, and with K-9 units.

An officer located the suspect who was positively identified by the victim. The suspect was arrested and transported to Northern District for processing.

Darrian Lee, Jr. was charged with Robbery, Armed Robbery, and 1st and 2nd degree assault.
