PASADENA, Md. — A Baltimore man was taken into custody after police say he intentionally rammed a patrol vehicle while attempting to flee officers in Anne Arundel County.
The incident occurred around 11:25 a.m. on Jan. 31, 2026, after an officer received an alert from an Automated License Plate Reader identifying a blue 2022 Porsche sedan linked to an individual with active arrest warrants. An officer soon spotted the vehicle on Fort Smallwood Road near Marley Neck Road.
Police said the driver made evasive maneuvers in an apparent attempt to avoid a traffic stop, briefly disappearing from view. While canvassing the area, the officer was flagged down by a family who reported nearly being struck by a blue Porsche moments earlier.
Shortly afterward, the Porsche reappeared, cresting a hill and traveling directly into the officer’s lane of traffic, police said. Despite attempts by the officer to avoid a collision, investigators allege the driver continued straight toward the patrol vehicle and intentionally struck it, disabling the cruiser by tearing the tire from the rim.
Authorities said the Porsche fled again but crashed a short distance away in the 6400 block of Fort Smallwood Road. The driver ran from the scene on foot but was quickly located and arrested with assistance from responding officers and the department’s Real Time Information Center.
The suspect was identified as Trevian Christopher Davis, 33, of Baltimore. He was charged with second-degree assault, malicious destruction of property valued under $1,000, and failure to obey a lawful order.
Court records show Davis is being held without bond following a review hearing held Feb. 2, 2026, in Anne Arundel County District Court.
