On May 25 at 9:50 p.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Gallo Clothing on Smallwood Drive West in Waldorf for the report of a robbery.
Investigation revealed an employee was opening the front door to let another employee out while holding money in her hand when a male suspect approached them and asked to be let back in because he forgot his cell phone.
The suspect then grabbed the money out of the employee’s hand and fled on foot toward St. Charles Town Center Plaza.
The suspect was described as a black male between 16 and 17 years old. He is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. He was wearing a green and white T-shirt bearing the logo ‘Hollister’ on the front, blue jeans and white Adidas sneakers. He has shoulder-length dredlocks.
