Suspect attempted to leave the store without paying

Leonardtown, MD–11-3-15 – Theft – Sgt. J. Yingling responded to the 40000 block of Merchant’s Lane (Rite Aid) in Leonardtown, for the report of a theft.

The suspect, Amy Copsey, age 33, of Mechanicsville, attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise. Copsey was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.

She was charged with Theft under $100.
