On May 18 at 4:45 p.m. Dep. M. Quinn arrested William Allen Carter, 46 of Prince Frederick, and charged him with burglary and theft after Carter was observed burglarizing a home in the 1000 block of Solomons Island Road in Prince Frederick by a neighbor. The home owner was notified and given a description of Carter’s vehicle. The home owner then observed the vehicle near Arby’s restaurant and called police. Carter was in possession of $1700 worth of stolen items.
