On Nov. 7, at 3:24 p.m., Trooper Lewis stopped a vehicle for a seatbelt violation on Md. Route 4 at Ward Road in Dunkirk.
The driver, Stephanie Lauren Bates, 24 of Dunkirk, was driving on a suspended license and placed under arrest. A search of Bates vehicle revealed drug paraphernalia with cocaine residue.
Bates was transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and later incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
