Suspended Driver Caught with Stolen Registration Stickers

On Monday, October 3, 2005 at 1:35 pm TFC Trossbach observed a vehicle make a turn from Kavanaugh Road onto Route 247 without using a turn signal.

A check through MVA showed that the tag was expired as of 06/05 however the tag was displaying a 2007 expiration sticker. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was identified as Joseph Carlton Ganoe, 44, of Waldorf.

A check through MVA on Mr. Ganoe showed that his driving privilege was suspended for child support non compliance. A check through the National Crime Information Computer (NCIC) indicted that the 2007 sticker had been reported stolen through the Charles County Sheriff’s Office. Mr. Ganoe was placed under arrest and charged with Theft.
