TEMPLE HILLS, MD (WUSA9) – A woman has died and a child and a man were injured after an SUV crashed and overturned in Prince George’s County.
Police responded to Temple Hills Road and Kirby Road in Temple Hills at about 4:45. When officers arrived on the scene they found an SUV upside-down on the road, Corporal Bond with the Prince George’s County Police Department said.
Investigators said the woman was driving on Temple Hills Road and for an unknown reason she lost control. The SUV was then hit by another vehicle. The driver stayed on the scene and was not hurt.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A young boy and a man suffered minor injuries.
The intersection where the crash happened remains closed to traffic.
