CALIFORNIA, Md. — The Taste of St. Mary’s will take flight on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, bringing food, music and family fun to the AeroPark Innovation District at the St. Mary’s County Regional Airport.
From noon to 4 p.m., the event will showcase restaurants and food vendors from across the county alongside a slate of attractions, including aircraft on display, live model airplane demonstrations and a classic car show. Children will find plenty to enjoy with make-and-take arts and crafts, games and even an axe lane designed for safe family participation.
A handcrafted dollhouse raffle and live music add to the lineup, underscoring the event’s goal of blending St. Mary’s culinary, creative and recreational spirit in one place. With aircraft engines humming in the background and neighbors gathered under tents, organizers say the afternoon is designed to highlight the county’s culture while offering something for every age.
The St. Mary’s County Chamber of Commerce is presenting the event with support from local sponsors including Taylor Gas, Visit St. Mary’s, Servpro, Cedar Point Federal Credit Union and others. The event will be held rain or shine at 44200 Airport Road in California, Maryland.
