Local charitable organization, Tapโs Community Brotherhood, also known as the TCB, held its fifth annual Epicurean Event Saturday, Nov. 6.ย Board members said this was one of the most successful fundraisers to date, with close to $6,000 raised.
This year, the fun-loving group held their event at Lennyโs Restaurant, which Kaci Kepferle described and a โwonderful, accommodating venue, providing delicious appetizers and a wide selection of beers, wines and champagnes for our guests.โ
Kepferle also reported that this year was a record-breaker, with the largest number of guests, the most newcomers, the most new sponsors and the largest number of items auctioned off.ย
TCBโs Board President Alex David and long-time member Donny Gray auctioned off items ranging from unique jewelry and bottles of wine to Redskins tickets and a cruise to the Bahamas. Several great local businesses showed their support donating items for the live auction. ย
Proceeds from the event will help fund the popular May Madness Tournament, the Back to School Picnic and the Pat Kepferle Scholarship Fund. To see a list of other youth-oriented programs in your community supported by TCBโs Community Outreach Program, click here.
