Many of usย are sad to see March Madness end. I, for one, am one of them. I got the email about this event today. I could not get over what a great idea it was to not only have a celebrity fund raiser for Autism in this area, but to keep basketball alive in April. Team A.I.P. (Anything Is Possible) is really an inspiration team. With so many of today’s youths giving up on a positive life and giving in to the negative easy way outs, we need celebrities putting out this positive message.

Team A.I.P. (Anything is Possible) is an organization started in 2001 by internationally known basketball player Patrick Robinson aka Pat Da Roc.ย  When Pat attended the University of Cincinnati, he bumped intoย an old guy that told him something that stuck with him throughoutย life.ย  He said “Any challenge or difficult task that you face in lifeย to remember threeย  letters, A.I.P., which stood for Anything is Possible.” This message inspired Pat to pursue his basketball career and spread a message ofย hope to youth throughout the world with his organization Team A.I.P.
ย
Teamย  A.I.P. is used as a tool to get through to the kids providing motivation through basketball exhibitions, public speaking engagementsย and numerous other communityย events.ย  Members of this team are highly skilled professional basketball players and community role models.ย  These players have been featured onย ESPN And 1 MixtapeTour, with the Harlemย Globetrotters, in Gatorade and Nike commercials, in Slam magazine ads,ย and on Magic Johnson’sย MTV realityย TV show.ย  They are global icons.ย They have had exhibitions in numerous countries such as Brazil, Chile,ย Ecuador, China, Japan, Indonesia, Germany, and Zimbabwe.

The exhibitions these guys perform are spectacular.ย They consist ofย unique ball handling, amazing slam dunks, and ultimate crowdย participation. Following the game each kid receives an autograph fromย the players. There are numerous giveaways and also merchandise itemsย available. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to theย schools athletic programs. Team A.I.P. also has a scholarship fund andย gives to numerous charities.

Prior to the exhibitions Team A.I.P. does school visits where theyย speak to the kids and spread the message that anything is possible.ย
They also host a clinic prior to the game, teaching kids theย fundamentals of the game.
ย

Theย Team A.I.P.ย experience will leave a lasting impression and inspireย people of all ages to pursue their dreams.
