The Dr. James A. Forrest Career & Technology Center will host its seventh annual TECH EXPO, Thursday, February 16, 2006, 6:30-8:00 p.m., at the school, located at 24005 Point Lookout Road, directly across from the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds in Leonardtown.
The purpose of the TECH EXPO is to familiarize students and parents with Career and Technology Education career options offered by St. Mary’s County Public Schools.
This is an opportunity to meet the staff of the Dr. James A. Forrest Career & Technology Center and to learn about the programs being offered. Middle school and high school counselors will be on site to answer questions about career clusters and opportunities available after graduation.
Representatives from local colleges, apprenticeship programs, the military, and several other organizations will be on hand to provide information.
