On Dec. 23, at 2:05 p.m., Tpr. M. Pitcher responded to the Target Department Store at 45155 First Colony Way in California, for the reported theft in progress. 

Upon arrival, contact was made with the Loss Prevention Officer who had detained Christopher Joseph Pennington, 19 of Leonardtown, for stealing three Blu-Ray DVDs.  The DVDs were recovered and returned to the store. 

Pennington was taken into custody and issued a No Trespass Notice, a Criminal Citiation with a preliminary inquiry court date of Jan. 9, and released at the scene.
