On April 7, at 9:44 p.m., Tpr. M. J. Pitcher responded to the 41000 block of Norris Circle in Leonardtown for a reported assault.
Upon arrival, contact was made with a juvenile complainant, 14 of Leonardtown, who advised she was assaulted after a disagreement in the residence.
Following interviews with the complainant, suspect and witnesses, Thomas Howard Johnson, 39 of Leonardtown, was charged with Second-Degree Assault and Child Abuse.
Johnson was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
