On March 15, at 12:51 a.m., Trooper Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 231 at Prince Frederick Boulevard.
A search revealed that the passenger, Dontay Saunders, 19 of Annapolis, was in possession of marijuana.
He was arrested and incarcerated in the Calvert County Detention Center.
