A seventeen-year-old male from North Beach was charged on a juvenile youth report with assault on June 24 at about 7 p.m.
Police were called and took a report from a 14-year-old male of North Beach who said he was riding his bike when a male suspect, who was sitting on the front porch of a nearby home on 7th Street, called to him.
The youth on the bike turned and observed the suspect take what appeared to be a gun from his waistband.
The juvenile continued to ride his bike until he reached his home and called police. Dep. Kevin Hall located the suspect and charged him with second degree assault.
