The Charles County Sheriffโs Office will be charging a 14-year-old girl today with making threats against teachers and students at North Point High School.
Earlier this week, investigators received a tip that a video had surfaced on the Internet showing an unknown girl making threats against specific teachers and students. Cpl. C. Cusmano – the school resource officer โ and Det. C. Gass of the Criminal Investigations Division took immediate action and launched an investigation.
Working with school administrators and using investigative tools, the teen was subsequently identified as a girl who formerly attended classes at North Point.
Officers and staff contacted the parents of each student named in the video and notified the teachers who were identified. The girl will be charged with making threats and disturbing school activities.
