Charles County, MD – On Tuesday, Feb. 2, the Charles County Board of Commissioners awarded Keymar Green, a 15-year-old student at Thomas Stone High School, with a Civilian Life Safety award for saving his 5-year-old brother. When his brother stopped breathing, Green performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) until emergency personnel arrived. Green had learned CPR just two days prior. Because of his quick thinking and the fast response by emergency responders, Green’s brother is alive and well today. View photo gallery.
