On September 9, at approximately 4:28 p.m., Trooper W. Posey was traveling northbound U.S. Route 301, south of Theodore Green Blvd. when he observed a green Mercury Mountaineer swerving from one lane to another.
Trooper Posey stopped the vehicle on northbound U.S. Route 301, south of Billingsley Road. He made contact with the driver, Warren Jacob Coady, 18 years, of Waldorf, MD, when he detected an odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle.
Coady was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
