The town of Leonardtown threw its annual Beach Party on the Square on Saturday, Aug. 7 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.. The annual event was sponsored by the Leonardtown Business Association and the Leonardtown Commissioners. Town visitors enjoyed vendors galore and fun for the whole family throughout the event.
The event featured entertainment by the 25th Hour Band, a magic show by Magician Reggie Rise, a Caricature Artist, Hula Dancing, Jump Rope, Limbo Contests, Face Painting, Classic Cars and Corvettes and much more.
Other fun activities included a rock climbing inflatable, carnival games, a Velcro sticky wall, moon bounce, a water slide, sand art and a great fire truck hose down. Many headed down to the Leonardtown Wharf and toured Oyster Buy-boats docked around the waterfront park.
