The Blue Crabs Will Not Have Firework on July 4th, Will Later in the Summer

WALDORF, Md. – Despite not having a season, the Blue Crabs have been working tirelessly to still have fireworks on the Fourth of July. It’s a staple in the community, if you live in Southern Maryland, you go see fireworks at Regency Furniture Stadium on the Fourth.

That’s why it is heartbreaking to announce we can’t continue that tradition this year. We thought of every possible way to make it work, but ultimately, the possibility of COVID-19 spreading at Regency Furniture Stadium simply isn’t a risk we can take, because the safety of our fans is paramount.

With that being said, we WILL have a fireworks show this summer. The date of that show is TBD, so stay tuned. Have a safe Fourth, we love you Crustacean Nation, and we PROMISE we will celebrate with the best fireworks show EVER on the Fourth of July in 2021.
