Makerโ€™s Market on December 1st & Garden In Lights opening December 7th at 6:00 pm

On Saturday, December 1, 2012, 9:00 am โ€“ 2:00 pm, enjoy the final Makerโ€™s Market of 2012, at Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center (Annmarie Garden). Find unique gifts for friends, family members, children, and colleagues! Decemberโ€™s Makerโ€™s Market is extended by two (2) hours giving guests more time to shop; donโ€™t forget to stop in the Gift Shop at Annmarie as well for even more shopping opportunities! Handcrafted wood items, fresh produce, baked goods, knitted items, wool dog coats, performance art toys, and jewelry are just a few treasures to be found! Admission to Makerโ€™s Market is FREE. Should time permit, explore the gardens or experience the new exhibit GLITZ:ย  Art That Sparkles! Regular admission to the Arts Building and the Garden applies. Ample, accessible and convenient parking is located in the parking lot and adjacent parking field. Handicap parking is available through the main gate.

Celebrate the holidays at Annmarie Garden during Garden In Lights, a glorious, Award-Winning, outdoor light show, featuring unique displays of oneโ€™s wildest imaginings, December 7, 2012 through January 1, 2013; 6:00 pm โ€“ 9:00 pm, on scheduled nights (weather permitting). Begin your evening in the Arts Building where you will find nightly entertainment, exhibits, the annual ornament show and sale, sweet treats, hot chocolate and coffee, special discounts, shopping opportunities, and fun activities, like the “Holiday I Spy Gameโ€.

Garden In Lights is a magical tour that takes visitors of all ages on a beautiful journey through the glittering woods. As you walk along the protected path, you will be transported to a fantastical place of spectacular lights and amazing “light sculpture.” Guests will be surrounded by superheroes, wild animals, airplanes, pirates, princesses, dinosaurs, fantasy land, and outer spaceโ€ฆto name a few. All of the “light sculptures” are designed and made at Annmarie Garden; nothing in this show is commercially available.

Admission to Garden In Lights is free for Annmarie Garden Members and Children (4 & under); $6.00 per person otherwise. Ample, accessible and handicap parking is available. Please note that Garden In Lights is closed the evenings of December 10, 11, and 12 (however we are open during the day).
