LA PLATA, Md. – This Friday, 7:00 p.m. at La Plata Town Hall, the John Luskey Band takes the stage. The John Luskey Band music style can be described as “goodtime country” new and old with a splash of rock and Americana.
Their straight-ahead, good-time music has become a staple in the DC, MD, and VA music scene and the trio has performed with Kenny Chesney, Brooks-n-Dunn, Rascal Flatts, and Toby Keith, Travis Tritt, Trace Atkins, Jason Aldean, Montgomery Gentry, just to name a few.
John and his band were the first unsigned band to ever play 98.7 WMZQ Fest 3 times in a row. WKIK, WMZQ and WFLS have been playing John’s music now for three years.
