At 8:42 a.m. Dec. 7, DFC. D. Denton of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to Lacrosse Court in Dunkirk for a burglary call.
The complainant said a house under construction for Marrick Properties was burglarized since the site was cleared at 5:30 p.m. the day prior.
Police say it appeared the culprit broke in between and attempted to steal a cook top range but was unable to remove it. About $500 in damage was caused to the outer doors of the home during the crime.
The Calvert Investigative Team will be investigating this case.
